Real estate hasn’t always been in Robyn’s forecast, however. When the market crashed in 2005, she wasn’t ready to leave corporate America, especially with a third child on the way. Instead, she put her background in marketing to good use, working part-time with a broker to learn the business.

"I try to figure out how best to communicate with clients on their own personal level. There are people who don’t text or email, for instance. They want to be called.
